No. 02  ·  Our Physicians

Two physicians, one quietly perfected specialty.

Both fellowship-trained at John Peter Smith Hospital. Both board-certified. Both have practiced across the DFW Metroplex for over a decade. Together, Dr. Menzies and Dr. Simmons treat vein disease the way it deserves to be treated — with patience, ultrasound precision, and zero theatre.

Robert D. Menzies, MD

A surgeon's hand for a quiet, minimally invasive specialty.

Dr. Menzies has been treating vein disease across the DFW Metroplex for over a decade. His practice is grounded in two fellowships and a long tenure leading pain management at one of the region's most demanding hospitals. He is, by any sensible measure, one of Fort Worth's most experienced minimally invasive vein physicians.

Steven L. Simmons, DO

Triple board-certified — and ten years in uniform before any of it.

Before medical school, Dr. Simmons served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserve for ten years. He has practiced since 2005 and is triple board-certified in pain medicine, sports medicine, and family medicine. He built and directed the ACGME-accredited UT Southwestern Pain Medicine Fellowship at John Peter Smith Hospital — and brings that academic rigor to every vein consultation.
